Here are the minutes of our branch meeting held at The Watermill in Wivelsfield on Saturday 26 August 2017.

Membership: 90 MSBs signed up so far – slight increase on last season with initial membership list & subs to be sent to MCFC Supporters’ Club (MCFCSC) this weekend.
Match Tickets: Received – Brighton 18 (applied for 41), Bournemouth 8 – including six allocated three days before the game (applied for 12), Watford 7 (applied for 21), Chelsea 10 (applied for 24). Future games applied for: Huddersfield (a) 5, Leicester (a) 8, WBA (a) 1.
Awaiting Champions League match ticket deadlines from MCFCSC which will be circulated to all MSBs.
Legends Night: Net loss of £160.90. This includes a £250 Gift Aid donation to CITC via Alex Williams plus a £60 donation to the Manager of Haywards Heath Town FC whose son was killed at age 13. This was carried by a majority vote.
Outcome of Legends Night:
John Joyce reported comments of ” best ever” from attendees and Carol Booth said she had a “marvellous time”. John said the event is worth continuing with and, potentially, a future guest target is Freddie Flintoff. Rod advised that one of the new MSB members is an Assistant Producer at BBC 6 Music which may open doors to future guests.
Venue for future matches/meetings:
Three venues were discussed: St. Francis Sports and Social Club in Haywards Heath, The Red Lion in Lindfield and The Watermill in Wivelsfield. By majority vote, The Watermill was approved as the branch venue going forward. Steve Chappels asked for the option to consider other “away day” options within the locale which was accepted.
